Labour grandee Alistair Campbell branded ‘blatant snob’ after slamming House Secretary Priti Patel’s accent


LABOUR grandee Alistair Campbell was branded a “blatant snob” yesterday after he slammed Priti Patel’s accent.

The ex-spin physician poked enjoyable on the House Secretary’s pronunciation in a bad-tempered Twitter publish.

Ms Patel, who was born to Ugandan Indian dad and mom, is Britain’s first ever feminine Asian House Secretary.

Rounding on her on-line, Mr Campbell ranted: “I don’t need a House Secretary who can’t pronounce a G on the finish of a phrase.

“I don’t need a House Secretary who talks the form of nonsense Priti Patel is speaking now.

“I don’t need a House Secretary who helps breaking the legislation.

“As for the testing fiasco….” The shame-faced politico deleted the remark after being referred to as out by ex House Secretary Sajid Javid.

Mr Javid fumed: “There must be no room in politics for such blatant snobbery.


“I need a House Secretary who works extremely laborious at maintaining the nation protected. We’ve that in Priti Patel.”

“I don’t recall Campbell having a problem with accents when his outdated boss was attempting to sound ‘down with the youngsters’.”
